FCP might have difficulty upon the "batch capture" command. An error message will pop up saying that FCP can't locate the starting point on the tape. Repeatedly clicking "Continue" will force FCP to try again, but this procedure is incredibly annoying. To fix it, simply close and restart FCP after you've logged all your footage. FCP will now have no problem batch capturing.
